This is a beautifully handcarved wooden mask of Cheppu. This mask has been beautifully carved by our artisan from Changu Narayan. The mask has been made with great detail and has been painted in Red Color by our artisan.
Chepu is a prominent Nepali cultural symbol. It is a decorative deity that is also known as the guardian of the house. It is believed in Nepali culture that it wards off evil spirits. Chepu is also known as Kirtikmukha or ‘face of glory’.
