Mahakala is known to be the God of Time, Maya, Creation, Destruction and Power and is affiliated with Lord Shiva. Mahakala is said to reside in the cremation grounds where he rubs the ashes of the cremated from the ground. Mahakala is pictured having four arms, three eyes and standing on five corpses. The weapons of choice of Mahakala are the trident, sword and hammer and he also hold a drum as well.
